Memorial Day Ceremony: A Day of Remembrance

Daisy Mountain Veterans Memorial Day ceremony May 29, 9 a.m.- 10 a.m., at the Anthem Veterans Memorial. The event is hosted by Daisy Mountain Veterans with support from the Anthem Community Council.

There will be a POW/MIA remembrance, symbolized by a single bell ring, for each veteran in the Anthem Veterans Memorial Circle of Honor who was killed or missing in action. The ceremony will include notable speakers and musical performances. To honor the sacrifice of our veterans and their families, the program will end with the playing of "Taps" and a moment of silence.

Seating will be available for ceremony participants, attendees, and ADA guests. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs or blankets. Not tents or large umbrellas will be allowed. Attendees should also bring water as this is an outdoor event. Free parking is available in the three lots connected to the Community Park, but the lots will quickly fill.
