Governor relaxes COVID-19 guidelines

COVID 19 Social Media GraphicArizona Governor Doug Ducey issued a new Executive Order on March 25, 2021 (EO 2021-06), which lifts and/or relaxes guidelines in place with regards to COVID-19.

  • Effective immediately, masks/face coverings are no longer required in businesses, but are still encouraged, especially among those who are not vaccinated or if physical distancing cannot be achieved. 
  • Events of more than 50 people will no longer need the approval of local governments; this includes youth sports. These events should continue to follow safe practices and CDC recommendations, including physical distancing. 
The Anthem Community Council will continue enhanced sanitation protocol in all of our facilities. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we work to continue to protect the health of our community.
