Anthem receives accolades

The summer season didn’t yield much in the way of monsoon rains this year. Instead, Anthem was showered with good news! The community capped off its 20th year with numerous awards and accolades.

  • The American Sports Builders Association awarded “Best Outdoor Pickleball Facility” to the new Anthem Pickleball Courts. This makes the courts a contender for the "Facility of the Year” award, which will be announced in December in Orlando, Florida.
  • StarGuard Elite honored the Community Center Lifeguard Team with a Five-star rating, making it the sixth year in a row for this distinction.
  • The ACC Communications & Public Affairs Department was honored with two City-County Communications and Marketing Association Silver Circle Savvy Awards in “Best New Logo Design” (20th anniversary logo) and “Best Use of Photography.”
  • The Phoenix Business Journal named Anthem one of the “Top 25 Places to Live in Metro Phoenix.”
  • The Phoenix Business Journal named Anthem Community Council as a nominee for “Best Places to Work” in the Valley; final results were not available at press time.
Thank you for your contributions to Anthem, and helping to make it an award-winning place in which to live, work and play. The Board and staff of the ACC are privileged to represent the community locally and beyond.
