Parks

The Anthem Community Council owns, operates and maintains three parks in the community. These parks offer an array of amenities for Anthem residents and their authorized guests to enjoy year-round. Neighborhood parks throughout Anthem are the property of the respective homeowners' associations (Parkside and Country Club).

New River Kiwanis Park

A short drive from Anthem, the community of New River offers an 80-acre park with horse arena, playgrounds, ball fields, ramadas, clubhouse/meeting space and more. The New River/Desert Hills Community Association works closely with the Anthem Community Council, and all Anthem residents are welcome to use the New River Kiwanis Park facilities. Learn more. >>

Turf Maintenance Schedule

Part of keeping the fields and playing surfaces looking their best involves short-term closures to re-sod and repair fields from heavy use, and to aerate the soil to promote healthy turf. Some fields are also closed for overseeding in the fall. View a schedule of turf maintenance in the three parks listed above.

Rules and Regulations

Tobacco use is prohibited on all ACC property. Pets must be leashed at all times. View a complete list of ACC facility use guidelines for rules regarding use, and refer to signs posted throughout the parks. Please be advised that the parks and amenities therein may be closed or have restricted use at times due to special events or inclement weather.
