Your help is needed in the wastewater rate case

Date Modified: Fri, 01/20/2017 - 9:08am

The community needs your involvement in the EPCOR wastewater rate case that is currently before the Arizona Corporation Commission. This rate case directly impacts the Country Club Community as EPCOR rate payers.
We are asking that you take time to attend a meeting where Commissioners will hear public comment, Jan. 23 beginning at 10 a.m., at the Corporation Commission office in Hearing Room 2 (H.R. #2, address below). We anticipate that dozens, if not hundreds of people from Sun City and Sun City West will be at the meeting speaking out against consolidation. Your attendance and public comment in support of consolidation is encouraged.

In addition to the meeting, please take a few minutes to write a letter/email to the Arizona Corporation Commission, appealing to them to support total consolidation of the five wastewater districts. After much research and testimony, our interveners on the case, Community Executive Officer Jenna Kohl, and Roger Willis (who is also chairman of the Utilities Panel and represents the Country Club Community on the ACC Board), feel that this is the best outcome for Anthem residents. Consolidation of the districts could result in a three-step (three-year) phased-in decrease in rates for Anthem ratepayers.

Please open this document, and learn more about how you can help this case with a letter or email to the Commission.
