Homeowners are encouraged to volunteer to serve the ACCCA. Complete the volunteer application to serve on one of the ACCCA Committees. There are five (5) committees, composed of volunteers, supporting the Board of Directors. ACCCA Committees include:
In addition to fulfilling the activities specified by their charters, committees also prepare recommendations, reports and presentations for the quarterly meetings of the Board. Committee Chairs meet monthly with management and the Board President to exchange information and ideas. Committees vary in size from three to nine full-time homeowners and one non-voting Board Director liaison.
Committee meetings are open to the public. Some parts of a meeting may be closed when discussing confidential resident issues such as appeals, design modifications, fines, etc.
The first priority of the committee is to communicate ACCCA Board and staff information to the homeowners and residents of the Country Club. Committee members also are responsible for developing informative materials for new residents, working with Anthem Community Council staff in delivering Anthem-wide information, and developing programs that continue to enhance effective communications. The ACCCA Communication Committee meets the second Monday of every month at 3 p.m. in the Vision Room, located on the second floor.
Finance Committee - Chair, Chuck Bowen
Committee members work with management and the Board to prepare the annual budget, to review financial performance throughout the year, and to make recommendations that ensure the ongoing soundness of the ACCCA’s financial position. The ACCCA Finance Committee meets the third Tuesday of every month at 3 p.m. in the Vision Room on the second floor.
Gates, Property & Patrol Committee - Chair, Ted Finnell
Committee members assess and review the effectiveness of our gate access procedures, gather safety information in order to recommend new safety measures for community streets and common areas, and establish the programs necessary for the efficient maintenance of our roads. The ACCCA Gates, Property and Patrol Committee meets the first Monday of every month at 9:30 a.m. in the Vision Room on the second floor.
Lifestyle Enhancement Committee (LEC) - Chair, Holly Matson
This committee is mandated by the governing documents of the community and chaired by a member of the Board. Committee members review and approve landscaping plans and changes as well as plans and changes to houses, such as additions, driveway extensions and paint colors. The committee is responsible for ongoing maintenance and compliance with the Design Guidelines and the CC&Rs. The ACCCA Lifestyle Enhancement Committee meets the third Thursday of every month at 3:30 p.m.
Committee members review existing governing policies and legislative requirements and recommend changes or additions to these governing policies. Additionally, the members hear appeals by residents and homeowners for cited violations in the community, including such infractions as speeding. The ACCCA Policy Development & Implementation Committee meets the second Tuesday of every month at 3:00 p.m. in the Vision Room on the second floor.
